Fiat established the studio only for compact cars in the second half of the '30s. In 1936 Fiat500 is born and it is intimate by his nickname "topolino"all over the world. It carried a engine of 86km/h and 13H.P.

Those days of 1936, the price of one Topolino was familiar to public and it was a little less than 10,000 lire. 
After 1948, Fiat stops the production line of Topolino and starts a new version project.
New Fiat500 born in the first half of the ‘50s, but its loveliness was missing and its popularity didn't increase more than "Topolino".
In 1957, after some improvements, the new powerful Fiat "Nuova500" was born.

 

The year later born Fiat 500 "Sport" with a maximum power of 21 Hp and 105 km/h of maximum speed.

"Nuova500" stores a shining success and Fiat makes Fiat500 progress rapidly further and produced Fiat500D early in ‘60s.
After 1964, right opening door was changed into left opening door and gear was also improved.
Fiat500 "L" can be called the most elegant and refined version among 500.
